Fed up with this time and energy-consuming scenario, BuyaTree founder Guy Hoogewerf started a Christmas tree delivery business in 1994 with the aim of taking some of the stress out of Christmas. With the popularity of online shopping on the rise, BuyaTree.com was formed in earnest, becoming one of the first online sellers of Christmas trees in the UK.
